Payne Family Enterprise, LLC is the area development-franchisee of Play Street Museum, a small-format children’s museum and indoor play area that caters to children ages eight years old and under and their families in the NYC metro area. We envision our locations as neighborhood epicenters for children and their families to grow and belong in NYC. Our focus is on helping children thrive in a space that lets them engage in unstructured play with an emphasis on fun and education. The redemptive entrepreneurship model informs PFE owned and operated locations to provide a fun, high-quality, educational, safe, and clean environment for children to play, learn and grow.

Kristina Payne, CEO
Kristina is a New York City mom, wife, Labor and Delivery Nurse, and owns and is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of PFE, LLC where she is 51% stakeholder. She has been an RN for 11 years and deeply cares about connecting with people, especially other moms. She also has a wealth of volunteer experience with children, from working as a camp counselor to mentoring youth in afterschool programs and non-profit organizations. Families and children hold a special place in her heart which is why she is so excited about Play Street Museum! She first had the idea to franchise Play Street Museum after a visit to a location in Plano, Texas and was blown away by the amazing experience she and her family had there. She immediately knew that this was exactly what New York City needed.
James Payne, COO
James is a friend, father, husband, leader, and Chief Operations Officer and co-founder at PFE, LLC where he is 49% stakeholder. He leads a missional community in New York City and works full-time for PFE. He brings almost a decade of experience in corporate retail operations spanning from NYC, Atlanta, and Ohio. Also, he brings 19 years of leadership experience from the NPO sector to the company. James sees Play Street Museum as meeting a need for neighborhood communities all over the NY/NJ market. At Play Street, he is informed by a redemptive entrepreneurial framework that seeks renewal in the people and places where Play Street Museum exist in NY/NJ.
